Professor Yung Kyung Park

Professor Yung Kyung Park is a Professor in the Division of Design at Ewha Womans University, where she serves as the Director of the Color Design & Technology (C.D.T) Lab. Her interdisciplinary research bridges the gap between engineering and design, focusing on affective color evaluation, environmental color planning, and the psychological impact of color in human-computer interaction (HCI).She worked as a Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics, where she gained extensive industrial experience in display technology and color applications. She holds a Ph.D. in Color Science from the University of Leeds and an M.Sc. in Colour Imaging Science from the University of Derby, UK.

Professor Park was served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Colour Association (AIC) and holding leadership roles within the Korea Society of Color Studies (KSCS). Her current work continues to explore the convergence of sensibility and technology, applying rigorous color science metrics to practical design problems in lighting, displays, and spatial environments.。
