Professor Rafal Mantiuk
Rafal Mantiuk is a Professor of Graphics and Displays at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge, where he leads the Rainbow Group. His research lies at the intersection of computational vision, display technology, image processing, and human-computer interaction, with the goal of developing mathematical models that bridge human visual perception and digital imaging technologies.
He has published over 100 papers in top-tier venues such as Nature Communications, ACM SIGGRAPH, and IEEE CVPR. Notably, his HDR visual quality metrics have been widely adopted by the industry.
